all - qq I’m currently on an LoA, stuck in India due to personal reasons (on F1 OPT) right now. I have a lot of interest in teaching kids online (coding and such), could I do non contractual job teaching coding online while in India with an indian firm?

I got a call from KPMG HR for the role of Associate consultant in research team, When she asked me about the expected ctc, I think I quoted less than the market standards but since I am underpaid currently so the amount I quoted was 40-45% hike on my fixed. I have experience of 2.9years
Can anybody please suggest if I clear their interviews will they consider increasing CTC from whatever I quoted becase upon searching for ACon roles they pay much higher than what I quoted.

I’m a rather ‘organic’ UXer who is often able to achieve impressive results just by following what makes sense to me instinctually.

Oftentimes I might unintentionally mimic the same steps as some methodology because it’s just what comes naturally to me.

I got offer Letter from infosys 2.5 months back, now when I am trying to decline the offer by sending a mail to HR, it was not getting delivered as HR left the organisation 1 month back, I forwarded mail to feedback team of infosys but still got the mail from onboarding team with joining details and WebEx link, kindly suggest how to proceed in this case.

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? My mental health has suffered tremendously over the past month. I have a therapist that I probably should see more of but I’m jobless and need to save. I am an aspiring entrepreneur with an inspiring business idea (to me lol) but my anxiety and depression is hindering me severely… fuck my brain. Any other founders here? It’s f‘ing tough.

I started a new job recently and then had my PTSD seriously triggered, plus a panic attack. Felt so on edge and low on emotional resources for over a week that I wasn’t myself and apparently really rubbed a few people the wrong way so I was called in for a talking to 😣. I let people know there were some personal things going on, but didn’t mention the PTSD—very unsure if that’s something to share, or if I’d be judged for it or... I don’t even know. I'm unemployed and my lease is up soon and I have no idea what to do. I don't live near family and my dog has behavioral issues and I've never been so stressed before in my life.

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?
