Just switched firms, in hopes of greener pastures....and I’m miserable. Not totally sure where to head next, debating some non-traditional means of employment/next steps. I def can spin the story but am I risking my whole career if I say, took less ‘prestigious’ role for the next year? I just need to mentally recover...feels like I’m losing time off my life longevity for $$$. Just looking for others thoughts or real life examples

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts? For reference, I did Venice-Florence-Rome in a week and it seemed okay but it also wasn’t as planned out

So I had 3 deals scheduled to either close end of May or mid June which were all pushed to end of June/beginning of July. Which is when I have my first vacation planned for over a year (I take 0 time off). My whole family is flying up and we’re renting a cabin near me. What do I do? I’m running one of the deals, semi running the other one and not doing much leading on the other one. Note: I was supposed to not be running any of these. Do I find a back up first or tell the partners first?

Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. Today I encountered the strangest bug I have ever seen with Excel+Thinkcell. I have, as always, a separate Thinkcell sheet where I gather and structure the data (from other sheets) I want to make charts of. However, when linking this data to charts, all formulas in the sheet turns into values. This has never happened before. Anyone else seen this and knows what is going on?

I’ve been in therapy (off and on, but mostly on) for almost three years now. My therapist suggested I try a low dose anti anxiety med to help manage. Have you tried one? Did it help, why or why not?

My lovely fish, small recommend for anyone suffering the anxiety, I was found to have chronically low vitamin D so am now on supplements after doing a kick start course. 6 months in - Hasn't gone away, but the impact has lessened greatly and the 'recovery time' is much quicker without so much drain after.
