At what point do you tell your current manager ( assuming a very positive relationship; with an outside-work friendship) you are applying to other jobs?
The reasons I’m applying have more to do with the broader culture, plus a desire for a new role, not my manager.
I made it through a final interview with a company I’m VERY interested in, and they’ve asked me for references. I’m 100% sure he would give me a good reference. But not sure I should tell him until an offer is made. Ideas?

Just read the transcript for the first dep I took and the amount of times I say “like” and “okay” is honestly horrifying. Does anyone have any tips on killing verbal tics? I definitely do it in my everyday speech too…
Any places where an awarded CD Copy can go and make decent money, but truly be on a 40-hour week and not really high pressure environment? Not to be lazy or do poor work, but rather to apply a career of skills to a company that is happy to exchange said wisdom and skill with good pay and hours. Work can be boring, totally fine. Want to have time for hobbies and life. Some say pharma, but plenty others dispute this idea. Maybe a big bank? A university? Salesforce? Deloitte?
Wondering. In a big corporate setting (ie standard analyst associate vp md career stages), do people ask for a promotion, or does the manager expect everyone want one (hence, no need to ask for it) ?
Staying at current company tech Mahindra with 23lpa (100% hike) or going to societe generale with 20.86 lpa(81% hike),which one is better?
Will societe generale brand name give me anything extra in long run?
I am an aspiring entrepreneur and want to start a business in future for sure. I have a few ideas but nothing concrete, or close to being a start up yet. I work in tech, but a generalist - have done sales, delivery operations etc. trying to get experience in as many areas as possible before I go on my own. I dnt know where to start the journey. Are their any books or other material I can read/reference to think and plan about my entrepreneurship journey. I m in mid 40s based in t2 city US east.
Hi all, My current CTC is 14 (base 11.2). YOE - 2 years. I have received an offer of 18 (base 15.3) + 3 lakhs Joining Bonus for the position of AC in Eli Lilly. I am trying to negotiate for a base of 16-16.5 but the HR is saying that is the max they can offer. I want to join Eli lilly and at the same time I am not satisfied with the base they are offering as I will be promoted in my current company in 6 months where I will get a hike of 30-35%. What can I do to get my desired offer from Lilly?

Senator Susan Collins of Maine plans to vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, do you think similar (centrist or rep.) senators will follow the norm or follow Collins?
I love arguing with strangers. I will argue with you about anything. Post an opinion below and I will argue with you about it.
How do you research arbitrators on Lexi's? Went to litigation analytics but it's only for judges, courts, and attorneys.
The police came to my door last night and told me that my dogs were chasing people on bikes.
I told him it couldn't have been my dogs, they don't even own bikes.
Would you do it?
Came back from mat leave, been aggressively networking to get a client role but no takers for a someone who can’t travel 100%. I’m willing to compromise n travel 50% but nothing! So much for inclusion
