Anyone here partake in a Junior Membership at a local golf or country club? I’m 26 living in a southern tier 3 city and currently weighing the pros and cons.

Making a career change from mechanical engineering to software engineer. Got an offer today. Pretty nervous and I already feel like an imposter. I am almost entirely self taught, they know this, and they know I have no software engineering experience. Any advice?

I had my Assessor interview this past week and received a pre-screening questionnaire that asked about dual citizenship status. Because I don't even have a passport for the country I am a dual citizen for, I didn't even think about the possibile complications this could lead to with my application. I applied through a career fair at school and didn't see the citizenship requirements, so I guess that's on me.

I often get teamed up with male golfers as not many ladies play in my area. I feel like they feel awkward (cause they get silent around me, only saying good shot when I make a good shot) and so I start feeling awkward too, and it negatively impacts my game. Is it just in my head?
