My only regret is doing the front clip rather than the whole car.
Yeah instead of my car depreciating 50k it depreciated 57.5k and I had to get the front one replaced cause a minor scratch ruined it
It’s a waste on normal cars. $100k+ it might be worth it if you have model with really particular buyers, ex 911
Put it on a car that I street parked in Boston (people use their bumpers). It looked like trash in a couple years and I removed. Ending up moving to the burbs shortly after and selling the car. Not sure it did that much to prevent nicks to the paint, wouldn’t do it again
I have put front clip PPF on my family haulers and full PPF on my fun cars. I used to get so many rock chips on my cars and the PPF definitely helped mitigate a lot of that. Did I get my money out of it when I sold the car? Maybe some of it, because my cars looked pristine, but maybe not the full amount. Would I do it again? Absolutely, because I hate rock chips lol.
One thing to consider — are you planning to keep the car long term? PPF usually makes more sense if you’re holding onto it for a few years.
I did it on my higher end F150 just the lower front bc it’s painted not steel bumper. It was $700 and I will never get that money back, but the front on a previous truck got eaten up by highway rock chips so I don’t regret it, but I don’t think I’ll ever get much value back out of it.
