Test drove it and it’s sickkk.
Ended up staying loyal to BMW, but I’d highly recommend S5 SB if you’re willing to pay for it.
BMW 540i.
i love it but can’t lie, id choose a C43 and an M340i over because they are more fun to drive IMO. But still a great car

Thank ya! Will look into both of those
It is really cool. Unless you care about being comfortable in the backseat lol. Should be fine for people less than 5ft 8 or children. Otherwise not very good back there

If I’m in the back it won’t be looking for leg room, but I appreciate it!
Big fan. Wound up getting the Model 3, but this was my second choice.
Rising Star
Used to have an B9 S4 and loved it. Have an m340i now and it’s more engaging to drive, but the Audis have better interiors imo and are more comfortable.
Great car and pretty practical. Beautiful interior but wasn’t a fan of the iPad-like screen bolted on. Only caveat I found was the pricing is insane compared to MB or BMW for leases. I believe estimates on lease hackr had people paying close to base M4 money for a well equipped S5. You can get into an M340 or C43 for cheaper.
I had my lease for sub $650 on a 15k mile lease but this was 4 years ago when market was different. C43 at the same time was at 700$ for 15k miles..
S5Sb is a way more fun car to drive then C43, C43 seemed to soft for my liking.
I had the S5Sb from when it released on 3 year lease, returned it last year. Still miss the car, one of the most fun cars
I absolutely would recommend it on lease, if buying be prepared to pay a premium for services. I did the rear brakes myself at about 40k miles before the lease return at 50k and the dealer wanted over 1200$ if I remember correctly, parts alone doing myself were 300$+...
But yes I'm looking at getting the RS5 SB next so tells you how much I liked the car.
The S5 definitely has a more comfortable ride than the M340 & C43. I ended up going for the m340 coz of the stupid power. But the S5 is the best of both worlds. Plus nothing beats the virtual cockpit and it’s customizability.
