Solo that has outgrown DIY document management/billing. Looking to make the leap to an integrated document management and billing software system. Clio is the front runner based on my research to date (I have not yet taken it for the free test drive). Anyone else have any recommendations? Any obvious shortcomings/downfalls with Clio? I worked at large firms before going it alone and have used several of the major doc management systems. Thanks!

I’m trying to help a theatre friend, transition into an ad agency production department. I’m an AD myself (so no production expert) but his experience and skills seem highly transferable. He’s a costume designer by trade, with over 10 years experience.

I was working as a regular staff therapist for 2 years at an assisted living when just 2 weeks back the HR approached me with an offer to work at a newly opened senior living, so basically I will helping them set up that location from scratch, open it and get it running. For doing all this they have not even clearly offered me a promotion, raise or a change in position. What should I do?

I have been an HR assistant for 2 years in the public sector 80% staffing 20% recruiting, I want to break out into the private sector and have 5+ interviews but never seen grab there attention. I have an opportunity to lateral to a practice area I am very passionate about but my clients have active matters and therefore, likely wouldn’t come with me. Would I be stupid to leave my firm? I recently asked my boss for a raise after discussing a yearly review with them. I was told because there was a company wide raise back in December, that would technically be my raise, which was $0.45/hr. I’ve stepped in to a number of roles here and feel I am not being paid adequately after taking on the extra work. I’m wondering how to go about asking for a raise of $2/hr after all this.

I got below offers from Herjavec group & Optum

Herjavec group- 11 lpa fixed + 1 l VP - IAM role with sailpoint exposure.

Optum - 11.7 fixed + 1.75 VP + 50K JB but the work is simple User access management with no exposure to IAM tool.

Which one should i choose ? Please help
