What’s your opinion on Cue Health?
I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

Unless it’s a super car or high performance car like a Porsche gt3 or something, you won’t get anything. Even for a Porsche 911 you’re unlikely to get any dollars. What re you driving? Speak to a diminished value/ accident attorney if you expect the loss in value to be above 10k
Wait for chip shortage to get worse and list on Craigslist for MSRP
But in all seriousness it’s usually a 20-50% decrease I think off of current value
Go to Kelly Blue Book/dealership websites nearby and see the price of your car (year, make& model) with similar specs and mileage. That's probably the max that you'll get. If personal injury was involved, get a lawyer.
All the best!
How old is the car and how many miles? If your car is old I wouldn’t expect much. You could try and do a little research but that might be time intensive (finding a pool of similarly specced cars and seeing the price decrease between ones that have been in an accident and ones that haven’t).
Depending on the extent of the damage, an accident on the Carfax wouldn’t deter me from buying a car provided that it was properly repaired. I bought a 3 series that had an accident early in its life but was repaired at the BMW dealer. It’s now been like 6-7 years since this happened and you wouldn’t have any idea.
Providing more information: my car is VW Jetta. The accident was not my mistake and I am the claimant in this process. The other party’s insurance has quoted me $500 for the loss of value. I am trying to figure out if it’s accurate or if he’s lowballing me.
