How do you folks describe your deals in resume/ interviews/ LinkedIn while stopping short of naming client/target? If you describe the acquirer and target, it’s pretty easily traced to the exact deal.

Is BEC doable in 2.5 weeks while working full time - 40 hours? I plan on dedicating 3 hours each weekday and 12 hours each weekend day. I most likely will also have a bit of time during working hours.

I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?

I’m so happy to say that after about 5 years of being here, I’m finally done with the exam!!! In a world full of internet trolls, it was so refreshing to be on this thread while we all cheered for each other and pushed each other to climb over our failures and discouragements. Aside from variances, what other topics did you get for Sims in BEC ? Currently reviewing SIMs with Becker but there’s not a lot of them.

Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.

Has anyone submitted a CPA credit extension request to the IL board before? How long did it take them to make a decision?
