Anyone work in local government in DC? I was given a preliminary offer with DC Health and then submitted my paper work and was told HR would contact my referrals. Haven't heard a thing in 2 weeks and referrals haven't either. I've tried emailing and calling HR and hiring managers but radio silence. Also had an interview for different team in same dept and was supposed to hear a decision 2 weeks ago, but also radio silence. Wondering what's going on. Maybe tied to house vote on budget bill?

Closing on my first home. Advice for anyone with student loans in administrative forbearance per the Cares act: once your offer is accepted have you student loan servicer put your account back in repayment status.

Accounts in forbearance, even administrative forbearance, are calculated at a higher monthly payment by the underwriter.

My fictitious debt to income ratio was too high for them to approve me, and it took seven days for my loan to be officially back in repayment. So just a heads up.

Hello everyone. I will be transitioning from the Navy soon and want to work in the cybersecurity field. I have an active secret clearance, BS in strategic intelligence, working on a masters in cybersecurity, and taking Security+ in December. No work experience in cyber, just my education and bootcamp course for Security+. Should I still apply for job that want 2-5+ years cyber experience and/or an active TS clearance?
