I am struggling with imposter syndrome on a daily basis but manage to get great feedback from the creative directors continuously but still feel the same way. I was put on a creative brainstorm and my ideas seemed so misaligned with everyone else's but the designs I did the client liked and I think we are moving forward with. Where does the role of art director begin and end? New to agency life. Any advice?

This role is at a small agency, I’m going to be paired with a Sr. Copywriter. They’re looking for a conceptual thinker and brilliant designer, no pressure.

Just landed a full time gig, looking to get some furniture so I’m not working on my parents’ kitchen table during this remote period. Any recommendations for desks and chairs? I’m hoping to find something that’s easy to assemble and break down for when I need to move, and something that won’t cost an arm and a leg.

I know everyone has a different kind of setup that works for them. I currently have a laptop, drawing pad, second monitor, and a desk riser.

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Everyone who says "I can't wait to be back at the office" - are they really serious? To tack on commute time and public transit anxiety, wake up at the crack of dawn. Will working from the office somehow decrease the work load and increase productivity? Genuinely curious who wants to go back and why.

I’m looking for photography course suggestions—

I took photography in high school and a beginners course in college but thats all. As an art director some of my favorite work revolves around video and photography, so I’m looking to understand more—technically and creatively. Who has good suggestions of courses or programs, online or in person (anywhere) that can help me expand my knowledge?
