What equipment do I absolutely need at home? And how should I bring it up?

I am struggling with imposter syndrome on a daily basis but manage to get great feedback from the creative directors continuously but still feel the same way. I was put on a creative brainstorm and my ideas seemed so misaligned with everyone else's but the designs I did the client liked and I think we are moving forward with. Hola Art Directors! Has anyone taken a great online photography class? I’m looking to gain a better understanding of what happens on the other side and communicate with photographers and directors better.

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Everyone who says "I can't wait to be back at the office" - are they really serious? To tack on commute time and public transit anxiety, wake up at the crack of dawn. Will working from the office somehow decrease the work load and increase productivity? Genuinely curious who wants to go back and why.

Any other ADs feel like our roles are starting to become just glorified graphic designers? Nothing against GDs I started as one but wanted to move into art direction cause I wanted to come up with 360 campaigns and make tv spots not resize banners and and make IG story posts.
