At the end of an appointment with a prospect I handed him my card and he says “ is that you? How long ago was that picture taken?” So glad I came in on a Saturday for that experience .

Maybe I’m being over sensitive but i don’t think I even want him for a client. I’ve spent a lifetime being careful and thoughtful when I speak. It strikes me as a particularly vicious comment for a 65 year old guy to make to a 55 year old woman

when a prospective client says something like this to me, i try to digest it. if he noticed, should i look into a change? what type of client would he be? (not $ but all else) do i want to pursue him? lastly, am i up for the challenge to manage his assholish personality?

Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?

PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I feel like it’s reasonable to not kill myself further to fit in more/turn things around faster at this point, but am I being unreasonable? I expect my workload to remain at this level through the end of the year at least.
