Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.

Lol yes, probably C
Okay thanks
Difficult now…literally all the firms are on hiring freeze now for experienced hires. EYP to Bain highly likely, but to BCG, most likely you’ll be part of their PIPE practice.
If you’ve 4 yoe out of undergrad, then you would go to C2 level at both Bain and BCG
I’ve seen negotiations for direct lateral (maybe minus one year), but the catch is that they have to join the PE practice for at least a year at either bcg or bain… which is not so terribly different than what EYP does anyways
Multiple consulting firms have reached out, so don’t think there’s a hiring freeze
Which team/specialisation are you at alix?

Just go into PE.

You don't do any CDD projects at EYP? Maybe you should. CDD is more relevant than IB.
