7 YEARS? No. If you don’t want to ask them for more money which you absolutely should, someone else will pay you more somewhere else.
Asked them for the going rate as senior and got shot down as they had given me a 10% rise at the time, i could of left and got another 30% increase on what i was on.. they didn't want to know… im here again 1 year later… what should i say?
I think the general rule is that you're more likely to earn more when you leave for a new employer. I would prep to go elsewhere. See what similar places are paying. That will give you a better idea of what you could be making.
