Which city would you recommend for single men in late 20s trying to find good opportunities in career & dating? Leaning more towards to NYC but not planning to live in Manhattan due to the high rent so I am not sure that would be okay. Also don't want to drive that much.

Curious how compensation works for counsel at top-tier law firms. How much do counsel make? Is it relatively set/lockstep salary, or does it vary significantly based on hours? Do counsel have hours requirements?

Current student looking for advice. I interned at RBC Wealth Management last summer and currently have 2 offers for summer 2023 that require a decision next week: 1 for BASF (chemical manufacturing) and 1 for Peraton (defense technology); I am also waiting to hear back from SMBC (S&T), Point72, Lord Abbett, Boeing, and Shell. What’s the best way to deal with a partner that prefers working solo? For context, this writer I work with conceptualizes by himself, emails the Account team, gives deep input, and makes decisions for us without consulting with me (his “partner”) most of the time. While I appreciate his proactiveness, I feel excluded, limited, and without much room to co-lead the work with him. I don’t know how to bring this up without sounding like I’m b*tching about it.

I got hired as a BA, at an advisory firm. Im new to the industry and new to the role. I see that every BA is different in different companies. Right now I’m building out SOP’S for our different departments, as well working with clients guiding them through our pipeline. I get to Analyze data every now and then to help make business decision, but there’s less emphasis on this. What tools or resources should I be utilizing to help myself grow and keep pushing.
