Interview the interviewer.
Asking good questions during an interview builds rapport with the hiring manager and gives you an opportunity to learn about the company from someone who’s there already.
The organization needs to fit YOU as much as you need to fit the org. Your questions should help you understand if the company aligns with your values and goals.

Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

It’s depends on the firm/ company! I had to purchase short term disability insurance (planned pregnancy)a year prior so that my 12 weeks were paid at 60% of my salary! My friend had 19 weeks paid with Farmers with no additional fee to her!
26 weeks at my firm
ID firm received 12 weeks paid full salary and benefits
Just depends on firm. Mine paid 3 months 100%
Like others said, depends on firm. I took FMLA 12 weeks, firm paid for 6, and std paid for another 5.
Check if your state has maternity or parental leave through disability! I’m a government attorney for CA state DOJ and only using the leave provided by state and fmla and able to get 4 weeks before my due date (use it or lose it before delivery) and 6 months leave with varying percentages of my salary depending on the leave and how much pto I supplement.
