I’m not stupid enough to talk about it at work. I have social media, I perform comedy in my city, I’m involved in activism. If you’re half awake you’ll see people being targeted and doxed. I just want to know if brands/agencies care if a copywriter is vocal outside of the office.
Do you work for Disney corp? If not, advertising tends to lean more liberal…perhaps with a close group of colleagues. I know which of my colleagues are aligned with my values and we talk about the hellscape we are living in.

Why would you speak out about that at work? What’s the goal?
Keep it out of your work unless paid to do so. Lock down your socials if you’re worried, but it’s not a guarantee. We live in a society that is challenged by scary times like protection of free speech.
Yes, yes you can. You have freedom of speech as a citizen, but once you’re in the workplace, you can be fired for any reason. Look at Jimmy Kimmel. In an industry that depends on clients, if a client is offended or insulted by something you say, you could be immediately let go.
Why would you want to be “speaking out” at work anyway?
Except JK's client was Disney/ABC which was threatened by the FCC because of hurt feelings by the potus. Not much of a fan of his work, but JK is a comedian who was mocking the most public and deserving person of criticism. Someone who also announced the weaponizing of the FCC and DOJ to litigate and cancel critics. You can argue that it was a long time coming or consequential of his actions, but it's a slippery slope and a double edged sword that sets another precedent for justifying consequences for critiquing a public servant or opposing personal/political beliefs. Shame he didn't just call for euthanasia on national TV, he could have just walked that back.

Depends on the company and what state you’re in. In an at-will state, or at a company with a “morality” clause in the employee agreement, you can be let go for just about any reason.
Yeah, it would be in your employee handbook or employer agreement if you signed one when you started. You probably got paperwork when you signed your offer letter. I’d check that paperwork.
Texas is an at-will state, so they may not even need a morality clause to let you go
