I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? I love teaching art but am having to teach remotely to 1150 kids, k - 5. Have about 54 amazing elementary art teachers in my district that share SO much! I could retire (34 yrs), but just don’t want to because I love what I do! Any advice for a vet looking to get into federal consulting? I’ve got a TS/SCI with poly and several years of experience in change management and process improvement.

Would it be hard to get a exp associate role in advisory at a B4 as someone with about 10 months in audit at EY, 7 months experience in corporate accounting at a F300 and CPA? Hated my time at the F300 but had thought the grass would be greener in industry. I’m starting a financial analyst position at a major hospital system in my area soon and want to stick with that for a couple years before making a transition but was curious if I just don’t have the right experience for a role in advisory.

I guess I'll try my luck out... Isn't the ideal thing to have the passion and romance of teenagers, but with the maturity and experience of adults? Hopefully I could find someone here that has that mindset.

Hi all! I currently work remotely for an agency based in St Louis. I’ve enjoyed working with their clients, specifically their tourism and other smaller, in-state clients. However, they limit me on the amount of work I am given with these clients since I do not live in that area/state. Does anyone know if there are agencies in Houston that focus on Houston/Texas tourism and/or other smaller clients? Not really searching for a job yet.
