Hi All, I need some advice on a job offer. I have been offered a role in HR in London with a leading media and advertising company. The role seems great and challenging and something I really would want to do and the comp offer seems great on paper (£100k base plus pension and health care) What I find strange is they don't have any bonus at this role level. They say it's a pretty senior level(I know a £100k base in UK is a pretty senior role) but I am really doubting why no bonus? Any thoughts?

ACN allows converting trad 401k (e.g., match) funds to a Roth 401k. Rather than waiting for a conversion ladder when I’m 40, I was thinking that a 25%ish market drop is a good time to run a bulk conversion now, as the drop is > taxes. How would you think about target %?

I could potentially earn less than the top of the phaseout range for a Roth contribution if I make my Dec 401k contribution 100% regular pretax vs Roth 401k. But then I can do a Roth IRA conversion.
