In TCS,After completing onboarding process and getting ur employee Id ,what's the process to get tagged into any project.Can you please share your experience?Can we reject any project if we don't find it not aligned to our expected work ?

I was interviewed for a perticular customer, which went well and also received an offer. Few days before of my joining date, i came to know that the technology stack from customer got changed and customer had no requirement for which i was hired. However parent company still hired me and now they're in process of allocating me in some other clients. Sometimes i feel insecure about this situation. How to cope up with such cases?

I recently joined Capgemini at 13.5 LPA along with 1 lakh as joining bonus. It was a jump from 6.5 and I have 4 YOE with 2 yrs in React JS
Two questions that's been bothering me -

Did I settle for less as I can see people taking even bigger jumps with less experience?

My joining date was 15 September, so am I eligible for upcoming appraisal as the annual review is due by October 14 and I have just joined a project?

Please share your insights as I have looked for advice everywhere else.
