Can you agree that this is just about how it is? We have restrooms in our hallway, and the kids take forever to get to the restroom and then back to class. I actually had a student tell me that they had to go all the way upstairs to use the restroom, because the bathroom was out of paper towels. We have such a horrible vaping problem that students get a bathroom punch card with 21 holes per semester to go to the bathroom. We also have students that like to go to class walking fast then ask just as the bell rings to go to the bathroom then take as long as possible to use the restroom and walk as slow as possible back to class, so if a student does this they have to use up one of the pass punches. It has seemed to work but most students are almost out of their punch card passes. Also students are not allowed to go to the upstairs if they are in a downstairs class. The bathroom has is always stalled well so students can make excuses. We also have a security guard that monitors the hallway during classes and all teachers and staff are in the hallway, lobby, and stairways between classes.

The vaping problem is so bad, add to it the meetups to fight. I hate that some students cause problems and then crazy rules have to hit all the students. I have students who say they go all day without using the restroom because of the things that go on in the bathrooms, or they do not go during passing periods or lunch because there are too many kids in the restroom. Then they do not want use up their passes.
