Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

Go to the interview and don't tell them anything about your long-term ambitions. That's a question you answer honestly in your head, not out loud in a room where you need something from the person across the table. Get the job first. Figure out the rest later.
Getting this job is Friday's problem. Getting the job you want is Saturday's.
I am just so inexperienced with anything remotely corporate I think I'm going to let that show without even realizing it, but as I like to remind myself - I got every job I ever interviewed for! All ONE of them :)
I'd advise you to get the job first before anything else! Hope everything goes well for you😊Well there's a job opening I'd like to share. A Cruise ship company is currently in need of 8 online Merchants. They pay upto $7k per 2 weeks, I believe they're more in search of WFH Merchant staffs, it's about keeping records of Food&Beverage sales remotely. Is anyone interested?
Everyone agrees with "get job first" approaches and I'm going to do my best.
Online merchants? For that much?? Sounds too good to be true from here. Do they require web coding skills or just site maintenance? This doesn't require going on cruises, does it?
I used to sell collectibles so have experience selling stuff online, at my own store and at conventions so I am interested in hearing more.
Thanks for saying something.

Get the job and worry about advancement or re-job-placement later. Once you’re in do the work and slowly reveal your ideal placement. Good luck to you
Thanks for the sound advice. My need is so urgent that I want to wait for better pay and a better position, but Capitalism wont let me.

A temporary step down can be strategic rather than regressive if it stabilises finances and mental health. The key is framing it as a bridge, not an identity shift. Survival first, positioning later.
It will be good for finances but bad for both physical & mental health.
But as I said; the woman I love has immediate medical needs and I have no choice.
Thanks for that. I'm 62 and only ever had 2 jobs, One was my own business for 15 years & then 30 years a Chemist, so I'm going into this clueless about modern ways.
I even bought my 1st smart phone, which was wise because the interview is virtual & I don't even have a webcam. Now to learn how it works...
But I'm a good Chemist with 30 years experience and that counts for something, I hope. I can still look for something better while working.

The modern way is dont be too honest about what you want, instead be like what generally everybody wants and how it should be done as per the book.
