Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

I used to be a civ engineer, around 3.5 years experience.
Took me 12 months from day 1 of learning python (self learning) to STARTING new job as data engineer in new company. Also in the last 8 months of my company, I was working on projects away from civil and more software/data engineering (opportunities through networking).
I think I was incredibly lucky that the data lead saw something in me because other people took a similar route as me but started on the grad scheme in the company, I managed to skip that.
Skills you need - python, sql, etl, some cloud knowledge (maybe take an easy cloud cert).
I was also in a consultancy before and my new company is also a consultancy, so that would have helped too. If I went straight for a industry tech company as a non grad, I probs would have struggled.
Thank you so much for sharing. Should keep my hopes up then.
I am thinking of the same thing. but just my move is data science. Currently a geologist. I will just give the advice I am following. Due to the economy I would just go into a lower role in the job family. For me I am trying to land like an analyst role just to get my foot in the door. And I agree with the DE it will probably take you about a year or dedication to be able to find a job. Therefore I would just focus on studying the basics and needed skills in that field (I.e. Hadoop, python, sql etc.). Once you master basics you can pivot right away as you can just learn more on the job. Hope this helps it sounds negative but remember your life, comp and wlb will improve instantly once you pivot to tech.
Ohk now I get your point. Thanks for confirming
