Just had my first experience interviewing with a PE ops team; case interview was lead by a junior employee who hadn't bothered to review a resume & very clearly had not been taught how to lead a case interview.

While I really do enjoy the design aspect of power systems, I've always leaned more towards the software side of EE and I like working closely with hardware. I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
