Done with final interview round of BCG for lateral placements and the HR has asked for a call for communicating final result. Generally they do this for communicating yes or no? Super anxious!

For those of you in commercial real estate groups at big firms, what do your hours usually look like? How frequently are you working nights & weekends? I’m at a midsize firm and, since the timing of my deals is pretty predictable, I work long hours during the week but can usually avoid a lot of weekend work (until closing week). I’m entertaining some interview offers from bigger firms and wondering how anomalous my current experience is (4th associate, for reference).

I’m thinking I’m going to approaching it where I do a mix of 1:1 and workshop style “interviews” to assess the quality and skills of people coming from a company to be acquired. I have one offer from Pune based company and yesterday I got another offer from Mumbai but before interview i told them that my expectations are 13.5 but yesterday in HR Round HR said our company has budget of only 10L and we can't give you 13.5. So my question is it good to accept the offer or should I ask HR why did you schedule my interview even after knowing my expectations..

Seeking advice pls- I’m looking at new roles for various reasons, one being that where I am at is not a healthy environment. I had an interview and everything for the most part was nice, but I didn’t like how my interviewer cursed a couple of times as part of the conversation. I just recently got my paralegal certificate in May 2021 and have been working as a paralegal for a Sole Practitioner since August, but had to make the decision to leave because I’m not making enough money to support myself. Coworker(c1) has been complaining, with overwhelming toxicity, about a senior level coworker's(2) lack of work on programs which c2 is responsible for and usually takes credit. I have an offer to do some consulting for a company based out of the UK (I am in the US). The job would not go through a consulting company but would be directly with the company. I have not done any consulting before so I am not sure how it works, what I would need to set up (they mentioned that I would start a LLC and bill them directly, no idea how to do that), how to determine the tax implications of this, or what hourly rate I would expect. What does it mean when you apply to a bunch of jobs for which I am a good fit and you hear nothing back for these jobs? For some applications, I'm approaching two weeks since submission. I did get a call back to the first position I applied to; however, after the lab manager saw how much experience I had he said to release me, far too overqualified, tell him he should be applying to Senior Research Associate positions. I have ten years lab experience.

He expressed interest in creating a Director level role for me based on my experience and interests. Currently sitting on an offer for a intro/mid-level design engineer in the Raleigh-Durham Area and wanted to get an idea of the average paybands, online sites have such a large range (50k-400k) that it is hard to narrow in on a price to start negotiating
