What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

Have you explored the New England area? We spent times in Arcadia Ntl Park, White Mountain in NH, Vermont. We love nature and hiking and it does not disappoint.
Done those two areas.
Grand Canyon. Probably have to stay away from the canyon, but you can daytrip in. You might be able to get a non-rim hotel a short walk away
Washington DC or Philadelphia. Go at it from a US history standpoint.
I’ll explore the GC option, thank you!
Done DC and Philadelphia multiple times (stayed in DC for 2 years)
Not for everyone, but my family really enjoyed our Amtrak vacation last year. NYC to Chicago on lake shore limited. and spent a few days in the Windy City. Then Chicago to LA on the California Zephyr, before flying home. Route was absolutely beautiful, especially once you hit the Rockies out west honestly enjoyed the trip more than the destination. Make sure you book a sleeper so you get a private room and bathroom/shower.
The train makes longer stops in major cities, enough time to get out and walk around and maybe grab some food. But, if you are wanting to stay overnight, you would have to book separate tickets. We booked a three trips: NY to Chicago, Chicago to Denver, Denver to LA and spent two or three nights in each city. It wound up being like $1400 total for two of us in sleepers. I think they have vacation packages where things are a little more structured too.
We spent most of our time in the train in the observation car (huge floor to ceiling windows) and otherwise meeting new people. Somehow ran into an EY partner who talked audit for a good 4 hours. Nice guy but I spent the rest of the leg hiding from him bc I was so sick of work at that point!
Also an H1b here 🙋♀️ My plan is Phoenix- Grand Canyon, Antelopes, etc. - Las Vegas. I’m so excited for it!!
Looking for company? 🙋♂️
US Virgin Island because it is consider domestic travel :)
Tickets seem to be like $1000 (seems expensive), I spent that much on a flight to South East Asia recently.
+1 on US VI. If you live in an AA hub city, tickets should be relatively affordable as well
Lots of amazing things to see in the US. What city do you live in?
Do one way trip from Salt Lake south to Arizona and make Antelope Canyon your last stop before heading south to a major city to fly home - Arches, Bryce, Canyonlands, Antelope.

Another idea: fly to San Diego and drive the PCH to San Francisco. Fly home from SFO.
