Any hot leads on Workers Compensation roles?
USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

I had a great onboarding experience.. Stayed for 6. 5 yrs and recently resigned. Great company overall but some roles will work you into the ground. Hope they improve those areas.
Do tell, which ones should I avoid 😬
I didn't really have that experience with the Hartford but I also probably had a different recruiter. It sounds like a personality thing more than an institutional, structural thing. Maybe give her the feedback that you're not appreciating her communication style, and you're only available at certain times moving forward?
I appreciate the responses, I’ve been telling myself something similar, that it’s just her and once hired I’ll never have to deal with her again, as shes the recruiter, but I’m almost at my wits end
I've been with carriers for almost 20 years adjusting claims. I worked contract adjusting roles for them twice before switching back to staff adjusting. I really liked The Hartford! Great group of people who get the job done. I still keep up with a couple of my HIG's, a decade later. The recruiter is gone after hiring, stick with it.
I have a friend who worked there, and she has said nothing but good things. I am sorry to hear you had that experience though. I have never heard anything but good things.
Not sure which role you're applying for but there's plenty of us that have been here a long time, or those that leave and come back, if that says anything. Sorry the recruiter is giving you the run around. I would maybe let her know you have other firm offers and if she can't do the same you're pulling out of the running this go around.
Well its not a bad thing that she's all up in you like she runs you. She probably just hasn't had someone there with or for her
I have no experience with Hartford although you might want to ask yourself if you want to continue going through the hurdles or if one of the two companies you have an offer with are going to be better to work for?
