Currently unemployed for few months and I got a job offer for parts advisor position. Unfortunately they are offering me $20000 (Cad) base yearly + 0.3% gross sales monthly, where in my last job i was getting $45000base + 2% of monthly gross sales as a collision advisor. They are saying their salary structure is different that’s why base salary is low. I‘m confused, what should I do. I don’t see any good job posting recently, i guess because of the holiday season.

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. Im a pastry cook with 4yrs experience and the average salary start for this position is now at $22/hr here in vegas, especially in the strip. But cooking/baking is not my passion. So im changing into veterinary medicine and im seeing that the starting rate for a vet tech is around $16-18. Why is that?? Why are people in the vet med industry being paid so low?? Something needs to change. Labor of love aint enough for the people in this job.

I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role.
