Always go for the guaranteed money. Stable income matters and you can always figure out the rest.
100%. Getting hired on for a job and technically being employed while making basically nothing yet having to remain available really sucks. I've been there, it's better to go with the guaranteed money.

Tough choice! Zero-hours gives flexibility, but guaranteed hours bring peace of mind. I’d lean on what matters most for your life right now—stability or freedom.

Guaranteed is always better.
I've never even heard of a zero hours contract, much less accepted one. I couldn't do that. I need guaranteed money. But I'm curious - what's stopping you from accepting both?
My experience is that the zero guaranteed hours usually isn’t an issue. There will be a few slow times, but not a big deal. With the few hours, that is all you will ever get. I would say to ask them about what to expect for both.
