They said it’s not a typical case study interview, rather it’s more geared towards project management, fee structure, or something similar. I’m not sure exactly what that means. Question for my personal taxes. I have an investment in a publicly traded partnership. At this point the next distribution is going to drop my tax basis to 0 and I'm going to owe tax.
If I buy more units right now, before any distribution is announced, will that increase my tax basis resulting in the distribution not resulting in taxable income? Or does each unit have to be tracked individually?
