Some team members are supportive, but the cons outweigh the pros. Flex days are now only for those who hit target hours, which defeats the purpose. There’s constant work shortage, making chargeable hour targets impossible. Managers focus on numbers, not mentorship. No work-life balance. Continuous staff layoffs add more stress. As clients leave and profits decline, unrealistic goals pile on. The system is broken.

What are the chances of jumping from IQVIA strategy consulting to T2 or MBB? Have previous 6 yrs exp at b4 management consultant in ops and worked some projects with S& and +2 years corporate and value and access in IQVIA

I’ve been trading options all year on Robinhood. Also have long term equity holds bought over last 2 years. Is there a simple way to see my realized gains or loss for the year? I know the paper value, but not sure what has been resized. I do 10 trades a week so would be miserable to try to add up. Thanks!

Anyone familiar with Ephesoft Transact that would let me pick their brain?

I’m in FDD… I know I signed up for this but there’s something about the anxiety that comes on a Friday knowing that we still didn’t get access to VDR .. and how that anxiety grows as you enter the long weekend knowing that access can happen at any minute (or not) and you have to tippy-toe on the idea of potentially cancelling on your memorial weekend plans. I know the unpredictability of our job but phew 😮‍💨

How do you transport your watch while traveling when you’re not wearing it? Definitely don’t want it just floating free in a pocket of my bag but I don’t want to lug around a big hard case either.

He has applied fr the match last yr & was nt able to match. Match process costs around USD10k; this year he is applying again after borrowing funds frm different sources bt he is under tremendous pressure to get match. Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

One EY Recruiter told me that the bonuses for senior are between 10 to 20 percent and last years avg was 17%. Can someone confirm? These numbers seems very high for PA.

When taking an exam for the cpa, is it done on a computer with a keyboard with a numpad and you do all your calculations on an onscreen calculator? Or is it done pencil and paper? Trying to decide on a new personal laptop and wondering if I should get one with a numpad to get used to punching in numbers or just a small one without it.
