a few years ago my company implemented a "2 pack" to my pay pay plan. Where they would deduct 200 per month to counteract minimum wage increase. Fast forward to now, it's 480 taken From commission.

Question for funds folks, since no one is around to answer any questions and I can't seem to find this answer anywhere. Why can't a placement agent combine or integrate the offering of interests in the sponsor's fund with the contemporaneous offering of interests in another fund? I’ve always just submitted each timer as soon as I finish a task—“call with x re y” really doesn’t take that long even if I’m busy, and if I don’t do it immediately I’ll forget all those little I did in the morning by the time I go to bed. No shade at all to those with different systems, just genuinely curious because I see a lot about catching up at month end on here and I have no idea how that works??

There were substantial layoffs at firm and management has denied, saying they were performance related (mostly bullshit). They have not ruled out [further] layoffs in the future.

I don’t want to lose my job, and it would absolutely suck. But I almost feel numb and hard to even get too worked up over the prospect given how emotionally exhausting this year has been. Maybe bcz I feel somewhat safe, but I feel like if it happens, it does, and I’ll find a way to recover/move on.
