I feel like writing or drawing have always really energized me, there’s something so freeing about doing it just for fun without any pressure. It’s great that you’re finding your spark again! Singing is such an interesting hobby to take up, Idk if I've heard of anyone else doing that, I love it!
I literally light up with glee when I draw for fun. I can't explain it. My inner child just is ecstatic. And no one is telling me what to do lol
I think creative hobbies are energizing. I've been involved with my gardening in recent weeks, and it's got me feeling pretty good about things. Growing plants and designing a new herbaceous border for summer has had me using some creative energy. I just believe any creative endeavor is ultimately making you better at what you're paid to do.
Absolutely love this hobby. Nature is so rejuvenating and gardening is definitely spacial design. Funny that many people I know don't consider this hobby to be creative.
Decorating does it for me. Sometimes I wonder if I should have become an interior designer but love it as a hobby. And on the nerdy side, love video games that let me decorate in them.
They mostly come in the form of cozy games. Sims 4 , Dreamlight Valley and Animal Crossing are a few of the popular ones.
I don't enjoy them they way I used to before I started working in the industry. I used to spend a lot of my time on art and going to maker meetups. I still enjoy making fun bags for myself and friends, but that's pretty much it. I find I have been enjoying fitness a lot more in my personal life as a way to recharge.
Funny you say that because fitness is a huge part of my life and that happened after I got into the industry too. I suppose it's a different kind of art - sculpting the body. Work was depleting me so much and keeping up with the gym has been an incredible outlet. One thing I do find myself being creative with is the meal and snack prepping. Def takes some brain power.
