My raise % has historically been good. Company entered into a big lucrative deal in 2021 which brought on more work and with it, promises of more lucrative prospects for everyone.

Come performance review time, I’m getting a rave review but was informed that the increase isn’t as big as prior years because HR is limiting the raises and not giving the department as much discretion as it did in the past with nos.

Tried to ask for more but not getting to the sweet spot.

I’m considering dropping out of my current graduate program after the first year, and applying for another graduate program because I’m realising I might be better suited for another line of work. Are there any fundamental differences between a salary negotiation during the start (applying for the job) vs. Salary negotiation during a performance review (you’ve been employed for x time and looking for a raise). I’m in the latter and wondering if there are any maneuvers that are different I should be doing.

Need help evaluating three options. I like my current team and company, but pay is not particularly competitive.

Option 1: Stay in current role despite comp disappointment

Option 2: Stay at current company, but move to a better paid team for maybe a 25% bump

Option 3: Go back to my former employer who I have a good relationship with for a 75% raise, expecting a worse lifestyle

I would go Option 3 without a doubt except that I've been too much of a job hopper and worry about optics.

Few scenarios, please reply what % I can expect as hike:-
1. I am towards lower side of salary band of SL/designation and didn't get promotion
2. I am towards higher side of salary band of SL/designation and didn't get promotion
3. I am towards lower side of salary band of SL/designation and get promotion
4. I am towards higher side of salary band of SL/designation and get promotion (I personally more interested in this scenario)
5. On average side and with/without promotion

I was recently promoted from Associate to Manager (skipping Senior Associate) but only received an 8% raise. I was so appreciative to be promoted two levels that I didn’t consider my salary not matching the extra responsibility I had already taken on to earn the promotion (including already managing my own team for over a year). I’m only making the 28th percentile of the market rate (information provided by the company). At what point is it okay to bring this up and how should I go about it?

I found out I was hired in with a comp package significantly below what the range is that is given to the recruiting leaders by our comp team. I brought it up to my boss and was told that the range that was given by our comp team was incorrect and they would not be able to adjust my salary to what the minimum in the range is. Advice? Stay and work on getting a promotion or leave for more pay elsewhere? Hard decision because I like the company culture here, but I feel under paid and under valued.

January, I got a promotion to store manager of a Metro by T-Mobile. The job however came with a mandatory 60hrs/6 day work week. And salary at $1,000 a week. There are no benefits, PTO, or even holiday pay. I get a commission on my sales with how things are now a days, it's like an extra $400 a month. I'm not really happy, and am having doubts about staying here. Is this a good salary? At $16.6/hr i feel as it's not.
