Selected in a Big4 firm and one MNC shortlisting is going on, hopefully will get selected within 7-8days. The MNC will be offering good package, but Big4 is just giving 20% hike in my salary and waiting for my decision to say yes or no,to proceed further with offer letter. Query :1. If I say yes to the Big4, and when they issue the offer letter, and then I reject, can they blacklist me. 2. Also if accept the offer and say no, in that case can they blacklist me from their firm. 7% of salary at 1900. Progresses up to 26% at 2400. Low AmLaw100.
What are you getting? Keep in mind taxes eat up about 50% of anyone's bonus.
Mid size in California. Billable requirement is 1800. We get $2,500 every quarter we hit 450 hours (for the first three quarters), $1,000 for every 10 hours billed over 1800, and 4% guaranteed bonus at year’s end.
It’s alright. I’m in California at a firm that pays first years base salary of $100k, so base salaries aren’t very high
Our "bonus" is pro-rated hourly pay multiplied by # hours over billable requirement. Ex, gross take home is $180k, divided by 1850 req = $97/hr. So you get $97 for every hour over 1850. So we get paid overtime.
Why is it dumb? Seems fair to me.
Is it normal for your bonus to be based on your fees collected rather than your hours
