Anyone got salary today??
Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

No, the company should pay you the remaining day's salary
There is no harm in asking/messing with them because legally they have to. In the worst case they will "say" that they can terminate you instead, then you can back off and leave peacefully. 😅
P.S. i have never seen any early release case so IDK

No...I was also released 3 weeks before my scheduled lwd.I dint paid anything as it was ask from them.
They will waive off your notice period so that you do not have to pay recovery to your employer. They won't pay you anything additional. Also, your appointment letter has the terms of employment mentioned where you can find what the terms state in case the company releases you earlier than the default notice period.
