Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

I do some consulting work on the side. I'm not sure if it's strictly allowed, but it's not really my employer's business. It earns a few hundred dollars a week, so it's worth spending my free time on it.
I have a side job doing social media but it's mostly just for fun. I don't really need the money, I just enjoy it. I'm lucky that my 9-5 pays my bills, but some cash on the side certainly doesn't hurt
I'd done some computer database work on the side over the years. But it tends to take time, the work doesn't do itself, sorry to say. And by doing it I really lose any time I'd have to myself, so I tend to limit how often I'll do it. But whenever I'd wanted to I've been able to find projects to work on, so it lets me bring in some extra cash.

I’ve got a small side gig doing freelance CAD work. Started for extra cash, but now it’s part passion too. Feels like most people I know in STEM have something on the side—it’s almost necessary with how fast everything’s getting more expensive.
Ive never done any side hustle, I’ve always made decent money and had the time after 5pm to myself

Right? It feels like having one job is almost a luxury now. I know a few friends juggling 9–5s plus side gigs some for extra cash, others because they actually love the work. My side hustle started as a passion project but turned into a nice little income boost.

I have a side gig. My spouse lost his job a while ago and we could not have paid the bills without it. We both have jobs again, so the side hustle helps with funding fun experiences with the family.
