Should be fine, but I’d be very careful if he’s doing that with legal documents at all.
What type of “agreement” are you under? Abide by its terms. If none, keep your hustle going. However, when it comes to a full-time position, if you wish to keep the side hustle going, you should find a job that will permit you to be involved in other such endeavors. I know numerous attorneys who legitimately have other entrepreneurial pursuits in addition to their day jobs because they have permission from their employers— and be sure to get it in writing.
