I would say for me it’s the pay. I want to start my own business soon but I still need a stable income before I quit. Do you work from home? If so, I know it’s better to work from home because of the convenience of not driving.
Fear. Mainly of the unknown. They pay me enough to not want to take a chance on a new career, but not enough to be able to take the ultimate leap

If it is pay, it absolutely makes sense to keep the job. Since the job market is unstable, why not keeping it for a while.
What keeps me from quitting is simply that I need the income. I had been thinking of finding a better job this year, but the job market isn't something to get involved with now. I'm more or less okay where I am, so I can't complain, but I think I could do better. Your mention of working in your pajamas sounds pretty good, I wouldn't mind a situation like that.

I guess for most of us, it is for sure pay. Apart from having other perks, if one is not making enough from ones job, it is not worth keeping that job.
where do you work? are they hiring? xD

😃 Sorry dear, I wish I could leave that job But I can't lol.
Opportunity. This is not what I want to spend the rest of my life doing. I spend a lot of my free time doing Coursera business courses with the hope of one day starting my own business. For now, I have to do what I can to keep bills paid.
