I set a few for each year. Most small, a few big. The easiest way to see them through is to focus on things the require daily effort, like diet and exercise. After a couple weeks of adhering to a strict regimen, you stop thinking about it and it just becomes part of your new routine.
Great tip! So true
I always set goals both macro and micro, as well as in my work and personal life. The one New Year's resolution that worked out for me a few years back was that I resolved to take a walk every day for 30 days. I find the 30-day challenge format works, and I kept on walking after the 30 days, and I still take a walk every day. If you can come up with a framework to do something every day, that's a good way to change behavior and incorporate a good habit into your life.
That’s great! I love the 30-day suggestion. I’ll have to give it a try

Yes I set a few and by the end of the year I go back to see what I was able to accomplish and what I still need to improve on.
Do you normally achieve your resolutions? Do you have any smaller goals in place to make sure you reach your goals by year end?
