I never thought deeply about this, although I can’t recall sharing edits with uninvolved colleagues. Why do you ask? Is there some risk in it?
I’m always a fan of the creative department being excited about projects and sharing, it breaks down some of the competitive barriers that can emerge naturally in this industry.
We need to remember that we’re here because being creative and making things is fun (it’s definitely not for the salary or work/life balance)
Also, obviously, don’t put any sensitive information at risk.
When I say colleagues, that includes friends who work for other agencies:
Noooooo you can’t share with creatives at other agencies. There are NDAs for things like this. Have friends within your agency look — but don’t share unreleased work with outsiders
