Why shouldn't you? Keep your options open fam
I feel like I don’t need to look for options right now...? So to save us both time and effort? I feel like it’s rude to go through interviews and whatnot if I know in the end, I won’t likely accept their offer.
Yes always take the meeting. Content is dangerous and your agency could go through lay offs at any time... taking the meeting ensures you are building connections and networking. And who knows, you could hear about something that intrigues you.
Thank you for enlightening me. I appreciate the help SVP1!
always. worst case scenario it's practice which is always useful. and it could be the job of your dreams.
yes. it's good to meet and know people in the industry. especially people who like your work.
Always.
I'm bad at this, honestly. I get hit up for positions sometimes that I know I'm not gonna be interested in and I don't like waisting people's time. Other times I'm too honest and say I'm not looking to make a move but interested in learning more but then the recruiters don't seem as interested chatting. My goal is to try to respond better to inquires.
I feel you. This is exactly what I’m feeling and going through right now. But with the responses here saying just go for it, I might actually entertain one and just hear what they have to say even when I know I won’t totally accept. Hope we get better at this.
