My hobby is to do nothing, figured out better to keep that for myself.
No, i think it feels kind of childish. Like maybe it's cute when you're in high school applying to things but I don't think employers are interested in that nowadays. (If there's any hiring managers in here who disagree, I'd love to hear about it!) I do think being personable in interviews is great though, and you can talk about your interests or hobbies then.
Not in a very very long time. I did when I first started my career 15 years ago, but it was more common then. It doesn't seem like it's been normal for years now. Shame though, because I remember it being a great icebreaker in interviews.
No. Unless you have interest or hobbies that are somehow related to the job you’re going for. Then there’s no use in putting that information on your cover letter or résumé. Hiring managers don’t care and it will probably get you kicked out of most of these AI systems that are used to review resumes now.
I feel like including hobbies/interests nowadays is just giving companies potential reasons to not hire you. As much as we are human and have interests outside of work, companies just want people to only be in work mode all the time. I usually don't talk to recruiters about my personal life/interests that much unless they specifically ask me what I like to do

I put my personal interests on my resume. I think hobbies and interests are helpful in identifying if it will be a good fit
