Does anyone feel like they are struggling with their day to day work responsibilities? I am so overwhelmed and my job keeps increasing my desk load. I try to tell my boss that I am overwhelmed but then she gives me the talk on how to set priorities and to work through it. I get we are understaffed but why is that the employee’s responsibility?

I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). Has anyone else had a mentor (assigned to them by the Company) who seemed to have it out for you? I mean downright sabotage to make you look bad left and right. I didn’t realize it at first. She was fake friendly, but she was discrete too. Some of the executives thought she was amazing, but I had to clean up her work all the time. She wasn’t above me either on the chain of command. Later I found out she had tried for the exec assistant role and they didn’t choose her, they wanted me instead.
