Does anyone have any insight into working with USAP. I feel as though there’s no upward movement although there’s “promise” of partner at some point if you follow their every command. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi all,
I have been a practicing DPT (doctor of physical therapy) for 9 years and am a certified orthopedic specialist. I have worked in multiple environments including hospital based outpatient sports ortho and acute care. I am about to finish up my MBA with a focus on healthcare administration, and am worried that my current place of work may not have a place for me to grow into. I'm hoping that some of you may have suggestions of roles or positions to pursue? Thank you!

I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. Is there any insight to how many billable hours this would require, and how much time that would actually be? For reference, the firm has a 1900 billable hour requirement and the partner said I would have “no problem” fulfilling that based on the work they have.
