I'm all for using it for a template/baseline, but I do think it's important to modify/personalize what it spits out. I think handling employee queries, or anything directly related to the staff should still be monitored 100% by a human. I think it's a scary move to back away from that.

Yes defiantly, it’s good for some things and saves time, but a lot of tasks still require an actual human.
Everyone is using it.

Really populated lately, went from not hearing barely anything of it to it being a worldwide thing!
Don’t use it for laws when writing policies. It’s not very accurate. Also it spits out what you put in. So if you don’t prompt it with enough details it makes assumptions and isn’t accurate. However if you prompt it and give it enough non-confidential information it can make writing daunting tasks such as policies super easy. I also recommend you pay for the better versions. My HR coordinator uses the free version and there is a big difference in tone and quality. I use it to collaborate on ideas, it’s really helpful just to get me on the right track and push forward with a project.

Ahh that’s interesting, as I do use the free version so might be worth investing in the paid one as it’s going to stick around for a while.
It can help to quickly draft policies, answer FAQs, and reduce admin time. It is useful for consistency and idea generation. However, it may miss context, raise data privacy concerns, and sound robotic if unchecked. Best used as a support tool, not a replacement for human judgment

That’s what I like about it, just to throw some information at it and it does it all for you. Really does save some admin time.
I use it to write company memos. I like how it does good templates. I wouldn't use it for writing company policies though. I actually did consider this earlier this week but decoded against it and to just contact out sourced person to draft one up for me. That way I knew it was up today with legislation. Although, I'd bet my bottom dollar her just used AI to write it!
I'm all for making things easier!
