Does anyone have tips for keeping track of opposition deadlines, trademark prosecution deadlines, etc? I am an associate assisting a partner with hundreds of trademark matters for large clients. While we have support staff who docket all deadlines and follow up with us via email, I am finding that I need a personal system too. I might create an Excel sheet this week since I can easily color code it, but could use tips from other attorneys (including when you sit down to check deadlines, etc.)

Some Business Intelligence/Analyst roles are very data heavy. I wonder why these roles do not have the term “data” in them, and wonder if it’s to keep the salary lower than it should be. I have colleagues doing intense data science tasks as BI Analysts, and can’t help but feel indignant on their behalf because when hearing their job title, one would underestimate their technical ability.

Quick question for you IP attorneys if the website and store front sign says “abc fresh market” and if you are filing the mark under currently using base do you have to file the full make or can you just file an application for “abc”. Will the examiner have an issue since the mark displayed on site and retail shows the full name “abc fresh market “ or since it’s descriptive you can file for just “abc” NOTE I AM USING ABC AS AN EXAMPLE
