Why too many people leaving FIS ?

I have an oral offer to work for a small non-profit in DC for $150k and we’ve discussed start dates, but they have stalled in getting me an actual offer letter. I’ve now received interest in my application to work for a larger non-profit in a more senior role. Any ideas on whether I can or should stall the process with the smaller company so that I can optimize my chance to get a better job with the larger one?

I’ve got about 20 years cross channel experience in marketing, split between big brands and startups, and I’m considering pivoting into a data science/data analyst role. I know it will initially be a step back in comp but is it at all realistic for a person with certificate level experience in data analysis but a decent marketing management background to expect $150-200k comp or is that mostly for degreed candidates (or not realistic at all)? I have a business idea in the VR/AR space utilizing AI. However, I lack skill sets to evaluate viability or to create an MVP. Neither do I have a network to tap into.

My plan is taking classes to deepen my knowledge while joining and actively participating in communities to find collaborators.

Question: I currently work as an inside sales account manager selling a wide portfolio of IT products. I’ve been recruited for a role that would be an outside sales role selling ONLY a software solution that Im able to sell at my current company (but usually don’t due to other options that we are compensated better off of.) The new role would have some overlap with current customers that I work closely with now (one being a VERY large client.) Would this violate a non-compete/solicitation?

A staffing agency (Alfvo) recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn because they are looking to fill a workday him role. They emailed me the job description. They wanted to do a phone call immediately/right then. I said my availability is tomorrow or the next day. I asked for company name, but responded saying they can’t share the count details before the phone call. Am I getting scammed or is this common practice with agencies?

Starting pay for Randstad for Google sourcing/recruiting?

Hi everyone. I’ve been interviewing with major tech companies like HubSpot, Shopify, and Smartsheet. I’m applying for jobs as an assoc. project/program manager or marketing PM. Me: 2 yoe as an official marketing PM in tech (5+ overall PM). I get to the 2nd stage of interview then get rejected. Reason: mving fwd w/ candidates w/ stronger experience. I’m feeling defeated. Are there specific things I should really focus on? Not sure why they would choose me if I don’t qualify.

Need some advise! When I get asked what salary range a role is, I honestly don’t know how to answer. How we hire is based upon the interview process and tech screen. I’ve been telling candidates “the starting base for this role is x but is dependent on the interview” obviously they think what I’ve provided is what they’ll get. But that’s not the case - it’s more of you’ll get offered nothing less than x. I need help englishing to make it clear to candidates 🥲 TIA!
