Virtual Happy Hours need to die a quick death

likefunny

I 100% agree. One major problem with them is there is only 1 conversation going on. And everyone can hear it

It’s also much easier to Irish exit or have an excuse to leave when you’re at the bar.. virtual happy hours are awkward to get out of bc everyone knows you literally have nothing else to do

like

At least at a bar your company is picking up the tab. I’m full stop not using my own wine budget to drink virtually with my managers. My after work hours need to be a break from work.
